Also known as foam rubber or sponge rubber, cellular rubber is used for sealing, isolating, confining or shock absorption. HST offers cellular rubber in a variety of compounds, including silicone, EPDM, Neoprene, Neo-EPDM-SBR Blend, Nitrile, Poron®, Neo-PVC-Nitrile and EVA.

BISCO® Silicone

Formulated for reliable sealing, isolating vibrations, and insulation. Able to withstand environmental extremes and is resilient to mechanical processes.

Cross-Linked Polyethylene (PE)

Has a smooth surface, superior physical and chemical properties and low water absorption and vapor transmission.


Is able to withstand steam, heat and environmental conditions. Has a wide range of applications.


Has excellent resistance to oils, fuels and the environment. It’s stable cycling from low to high temperatures.

Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Blend (EVA)

Extremely elastic yet tough. EVA is typically used in electrical applications.

Neoprene/EPDM/SBR Blend

Closed cell sponge that is resistant to acids, the environment, and alkali.


Hard rubber that is oil and weather resistant. Maintains strength and flexibility very well over a wide temperature range.


This blend offers flame resistance, ozone resistance, and oil resistance. Carries the full UL 94 HF1 listing for flame.

Neoprene/PVC/Nitrile Blend

Sponge that has impact and shock absorbing properties as well as chemical resistance. It is well suited for outdoor applications because of its ability to withstand environmental conditions.

Nitrile (Buna-N)

Has excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils, water and alcohols. Offers desirable working properties such as low compression set, high tensile strength and abrasion resistance.


It has excellent compression set resistance which enables durable, long-term performance. Also has good chemical resistance.

Vinyl Foam Low and Medium Density

This closed cell foam resists absorption of water and other fluids.

Vinyl Foam Low Density-Reverse-Wound

Closed cell polyvinyl chloride foam for use in weatherproofing seams and openings.
